For the Pyramid Award, which recognizes the outstanding, creative use of promotional products, the company submitted a Travel Bingo game created by Dan Livengood, Newton’s sales manager, western region, for Keep Iowa Beautiful. The game was designed to complement the state organization’s litter prevention, education and awareness initiative.

Newton’s corporate website is a finalist for a PPAI Technology Award in the Web Content/Functionality category. PPAI describes the category as recognizing the web-based presentation of a company’s overall products and services in an effective format utilizing concise content and appropriate terminology for the intended audience.

“A tremendous amount of quality work has been done for our clients and our own brand over the past year,” explained Jay Donlin, Newton’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We are excited to be recognized for it.”

This latest announcement comes after PPAI announced that the company’s Newton Idea Catalog is a finalist for the organization’s Image Awards.

Winners will be announced at the PPAI Awards Presentation & Reception on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 during the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.
