I will be back in the Windy City this week for the 2009 ASI Show Chicago. It’s the only major promotional products industry show all summer. I lived in Chicago for 6 years, calling on most of the distributors there and serving on the board of the Promotional Product Association Chicago including some time as president.

It will be great to get caught up with some old friends in the industry and I’m excited to talk about my new position here at Newton Manufacturing. I’m planning on reintroducing the industry to Newton and discussing some of the innovative things that we are doing in the area of recognition and incentives. It may be one of the industry’s best kept secrets and it’s time for that to change.

I’m looking forward to meeting with Newton Sales Representatives and discussing ways to better serve them and their customers. Since they are our most valuable asset, it’s important to make sure they have the best support and resources available to maintain their success.

I will be coming back with ideas to keep Newton Manufacturing Company ahead of the promotional advertising curve.
