Newton employees responded to the humanitarian crisis in Haiti by donating over $600 to the Red Cross’ relief efforts. Most of the contributions were a result of popular casual days in which employees donate $1 for the right to wear jeans to the office.

While Jan. 22 was specifically designated as jeans day for Haiti relief, money collected from jeans days during the week of Dec. 28 was also included in the final donation. Several employees made additional personal contributions directed to the relief efforts.
