Once again, Newton Manufacturing has been named one of the top 40 promotional product distributors in the country in 2009 by the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI). Newton ranked No. 29 on the 2010 list with $45.9 million in sales in 2009, dropping one spot from their No. 28 ranking on the previous year’s list.

“Our ranking reflects the hard work and dedication of our representatives and employees through an economically challenging year,” said Lee Cochran, Newton’s president. “We are seeing more confidence in the marketplace and are looking forward to growth in 2010.”

Robin Hand, Newton’s senior sales manager, eastern region, accepted the award on Newton’s behalf during the ceremony in New York. The top 40 list was announced as part of The ASI Show New York.

The annual ranking is compiled by the ASI and identifies the largest advertising specialty industry distributor firms. Rankings are based upon the previous year’s advertising specialty revenue and are compiled from survey results provided by ASI member companies. The surveys are conducted as a part of the State of the Industry report from ASI’s Counselor magazine.
