With QR code usage continuing to grow, Top-40 distributor Newton Manufacturing Company has published a free white paper about the technology. “How to Sell QR Codes” is a guide for industry distributors, agencies and suppliers for implementing QR codes in promotions.

QR codes, which look like a mosaic of black and white
pixels, are becoming increasingly popular as smartphone usage in the United States continues to grow. When scanned by a smartphone with the appropriate
app, the code delivers the advertiser’s content, typically a mobile website, to the device.
The white paper discusses how the codes are created and are being used by advertisers. It then walks the reader through the process of creating a campaign using QR codes and offers ideas for imprinting the codes on
