Newton Manufacturing Company received three awards - a Silver Image, Silver Pyramid and Silver Technology - at the Promotional Products Association’s (PPAI) Awards and Recognition program held on the evening of January 4th, as part of the annual PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.

The company received a Silver Image Award for their Newton Idea Catalog in the Distributor Print Catalog category, which recognizes PPAI members’ efforts to convey their brand message in the specified category. The proprietary publication is Newton’s primary sales tool and is compiled and designed in-house.

Newton also received a Silver Pyramid Award in the Social Responsibility Program category which recognizes members’ outstanding use of promotional products, for a custom Travel Bingo game. Dan Livengood, Newton’s senior sales manager, western region, developed the game for Keep Iowa Beautiful as part of the state organization’s litter prevention, education and awareness initiative.

The company’s third award was a Silver Technology Award in the Website Content/Functionality category for its corporate website. The award recognizes PPAI members’ online presentation of their brand, products and services focusing on the website’s format and use of content in relation to the intended audience.

To be considered for a PPAI award, members must submit entries before the posted deadline. Entries are judged and finalists for each are announced in the months leading up to the PPAI Expo. At the award show, finalists receive either a gold, silver or bronze award in their specific category based on the judges’ scores.
