Newton Manufacturing would like to congratulate Karey Bown
and Laurie Kunkel for being named Service Superheroes by Promotional Products
Business (PPB) magazine.
Bown started her career at Newton in 2002 as an order
processor before becoming a sales service manager in 2008. In her current
position, she oversees the company’s business development and order processing
departments.
Kunkel is also a sales service manager and has been with the
company since 1993, starting in customer service. She has been at her current
position since 2002 where she oversees Newton’s order administration and
resolution departments.
“Newton’s dynamic duo demonstrates resourcefulness and
integrity – all with a superb attitude,” said Dan Livengood, Newton’s regional
sales manager, western region, in his nomination of the pair. “Both have
demonstrated incredible patience through many types of situations and set great
personal and professional examples for the teams.”
PPB, published by the Promotional Products Association
International, chose its inaugural Service Superheroes based on nominations
from their readers. The magazine chose 15 individuals who routinely deliver
above and beyond service, take care of the details and generally help their
