Our Corporate Identity Program Portfolio
See how our clients have successfully utilized our capabilities to achieve internal and external marketing goals.
Company Store
For a major airline, Newton was able to deliver a Corporate Identity Program to bring down the costs of their company store. Newton took over warehousing, eliminating warehouse lease expense and other overhead. With our distribution and drop ship capabilities, Newton was able to reduce stock levels which lowered their inventory liability. Finally we created a comprehensive e-commerce site to serve each of their diverse buying groups and handle all customer service operations. Through these measures, Newton drove out $280,000 in operating costs from the airline’s company store.
Foster Goodwill
A $2.8 billion trucking company with 379 terminals and 26,100 employees wanted to purchase products imprinted with their logo which would be given to their customers to foster goodwill. This purchase needed to ensure consistent brand image as well control logo integrity.
Product ideas were developed and sourced and an e-commerce site was designed. The program process was outlined for fulfillment without any excess inventory. The e-commerce order system accumulated exact needs and placed exact order quantities to serve each participant within the budget. Product carryover from year to year was also avoided. Each year, the company identified innovative product ideas to ensure that the goodwill items are retained by the recipient as well as supported by the on-going brand image.
The trucking company has saved over $352,000 by coordinating the purchasing of imprinted products. In addition to gaining volume purchasing power, they eliminated redundant merchandise set-up costs which equated to an additional savings of $343,000.
Tradeshow Logistics
A medical staffing firm came to us looking for a way to simplify their tradeshow and recruiting fair logistics. We developed a program where Newton would manage an inventory of their tradeshow materials - giveaway items, literature, etc. - and have them available to order from an e-commerce site. Their staff orders their materials as needed for an upcoming show and Newton ships everything directly to the show location. Once the show is over, the unused items are shipped back to Newton and placed back into inventory.
By using a centralized program through Newton, the firm has better visibility of the materials being used at their events and their staff has a simplified process for coordinating their show materials. The easy-to-use website saves their exhibitors from hauling boxes of materials around to each show's location. |
